Along with the rest of the world, schools have also had to adapt to the new normal of dealing with Covid-19. Taking a few easy steps will help students and teachers stay healthy. It’s recommended that we have at least eight cups (2lt) of water a day. This can seem like an overwhelming amount to begin with. I suggest starting small and aiming for four glasses of water, then increase it daily or every second day from there. Before you know it, you’ll easily be able to drink eight cups of water a day. I also think trying to do 20 minutes of exercise a day is a great way to stay fit and healthy. This doesn’t have to be any kind of extreme exercise or gym teachers washing hands as they enter and leave it, and both before and after school, as well as at break times. Keeping hydrated is important, and the easiest way to do this is to ensure students are bringing a water bottle into the classroom.
