Healthy Kids Guide deemed a healthy success

Guardian Pharmacy has reportedly claimed its Healthy Kids’ Guide a success for another year, following the re-return of both its print and online editions.

“Now back in both digital and print editions for our 20th year, the continued success of Healthy Kids’ Guide reflects the hard work our passionate network of pharmacists put into providing the latest and most reliable health information for local communities,” says Head of Guardian Pharmacy, Kurt O’Brien.

Healthy Kids’ Guide is Guardian Pharmacy’s free annual resource developed with helpful, easy-to-understand information about kids’ health to assist parents in identifying and managing common health concerns in their children.

The guide is part of Guardian’s long-standing commitment in assisting pharmacies maintain connections with local families, both through the guide’s latest health advice and more broadly, by acting as a reminder for parents that access to expert advice is available at their nearby local Guardians Pharmacy.

Healthy Kids’ Guide is just one of the many ways that Guardian delivers on providing trusted advice and care to Australian families, in a time where access to reliable healthcare information and advice has never been more important,” adds Mr O’Brien.

Reportedly, in addition to the printed version providing Guardian pharmacists an opportunity to interact with customers in-store, new statistics also reveal that total impressions for the digital book, now in its 20th year of release, have exceeded more than half a million Australians in under four weeks.

According to Guardian Pharmacy, three-in-five of the book’s total readers on average consume the informative pages of common ailments in children aged four to twelve.

It’s said the guide forms part of Guardian’s broader focus on community lead initiatives in 2021, including its yearly Guardian Angels Knitting Program, set to come out later this year in partnership with Vinnies.
