Friends with Dignity presents the Little Friends Scholarship program that awards bi-annual monetary scholarships to children throughout Australia who have faced, or are facing, domestic or family violence.
The program was established to ensure that all children who have experienced domestic violence, have an opportunity to strengthen their confidence, and continue their education.
The educational and extra-curricular scholarships help to cover a variety of expenses, such as helping children attend camp and after-school activities with their peers, as well as providing uniforms.
Applications for the scholarship opened January 27.
