EDITOR’S LETTER
I have a confession to make.
In addition to working at the magazine, I’m a triathlete.
Yep, I’m one of those (cough) Lycra-wearing, training obsessed people who come into the office on a Monday morning humble- bragging about the kms we’ve done over the weekend riding, running, swimming and everything in between ... I’m kidding. I don’t brag, that much.
With my weekends largely taken up by all things swim, bike and run, it’s always nice to see how many people are out and about walking, riding, jogging or breaking personal parkrun records when I’m out training.
I’ve always been active. There was ballet, gymnastics, netball and swimming then soccer and athletics – and it’s something I’ve carried into adulthood. It has helped me get through the highs and lows of growing up (#adulting). I’ve felt firsthand the mental health (and, of course, the physical health) benefits of regular exercise.
Such benefits are the reason why we have focused on
all things exercise and movement in this month’s Retail Pharmacy Assistants magazine. Whether you’re interested in
