Wizard Pharmacy Albany Hacienda officially opened its doors on Wednesday 28 August, with its grand opening led by Rebecca Stephens, member for Albany,
Ms Stephens, said, “Congratulations to Michael Hannagan and his team on the opening of Wizard Pharmacy. It is encouraging to see such confidence in business investments in Albany, which will benefit our community and create additional jobs in the region.
“Pharmacies are an important part of the community, especially in regional WA.
Our government has recently expanded the role of community pharmacies, demonstrating the valuable role pharmacists can play in delivering primary health care services. This includes treatment for a range of common and mild conditions, plus the Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) treatment program and the Oral Contraceptive Pill (OCP) resupply program. I’m pleased we’ve introduced these practical initiatives to help patients access timely and convenient treatment for certain conditions at pharmacies.”
“I look forward to Wizard Pharmacy supporting Albany locals with their health needs and becoming a part of our community,” she said.
The pharmacy, situated on the corner of Cockburn Road and Campbell Road in the regional WA suburb of Mira Mar and owned by Michael Hannagan, is the first Wizard Pharmacy in the area.
Michael Hannagan said he was excited to offer the Albany community something new in health and wellness.
“Wizard Pharmacy has evolved from the traditional pharmacy experience to offer more than just prescriptions and health services.”
“Health and the patient experience are still at the core of what we do, but we’re excited to offer categories like giftware and trending brands in beauty and fragrance.”

Wizard Pharmacy Albany Hacienda, located at 25 Campbell Road, Mira Mar, is open Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm and Saturday, 9 am-12 pm.
