In honor of National Brush Day next month, Julie Seager, RDH, BSDH, shares three tips and tricks on how to best take care of your smile.
- Be sure to spend at least two minutes brushing your teeth. One minute for top teeth and one minute for lower teeth.
- Don’t forget to clean the tongue! A toothbrush can be used to brush the tongue or use a tongue scraper.
- Toothbrushing apps can help with technique and make brushing fun.
- After using an all-natural mouthwash, just spit it out and don’t rinse with water after using the mouthwash.
