Researchers from the University of Tasmania have undertaken a survey of pharmacists on the quality of blood pressure devices provided in Australian pharmacies.
Participants in the survey stand to win a $500 gift voucher from a draw.
Guidelines recommend that people purchase blood pressure devices for home monitoring, and a common place of purchase is the pharmacy.
Little is known on the quality of blood pressure devices supplied through Australian pharmacies, and this survey seeks to better understand this from the view of practising pharmacists.
