Chemist Warehouse Group has raised $905,146 for mental fitness foundation Gotcha4Life throughout the 2022 campaign.
Founded by media personality Gus Worland, Gotcha4Life is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to helping build mental fitness in individuals and communities throughout Australia via its programs and campaigns.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the result of this year’s campaign and incredibly grateful for the strong partnership we have with Chemist Warehouse,” said Gus Worland, Founder of Gotcha4Life.
“A campaign of this scale doesn’t come to life without the commitment of so many individual people.
“I would like to personally thank all of the Chemist Warehouse team for their contribution to this wonderful initiative.
“Together, we are helping shape a society where no one needs to worry alone, and more people have the skills and tools to reach out when times get tough.”
This is the sixth straight year that Chemist Warehouse has teamed up with Gotcha4Life.
“The Chemist Warehouse Group is proud to work hand in hand with Gotcha4Life and continue our strong support and partnership. We are thrilled with the huge amount raised in 2022 and are striving to open the lines of communication and encourage open and honest conversation.
“As the House of Wellness, myself and our team remain passionate and committed to raising much-needed awareness and funds to build mental fitness,” said Mario Tascone, Director of Chemist Warehouse.
Since coming on board as a proud supporter in 2017, together they strive to raise much-needed awareness and funds to build mental fitness, emotional muscle, meaningful mateship and social connection in local communities.
This year valued Chemist Warehouse suppliers, including Gilette, also jumped on board to support, donating a portion of their sales from select products to Gotcha4Life during the campaign.
The funds raised during the 2022 campaign will be used to power mental fitness workshops.
Funds from the 2022 campaign will allow Gotcha4life to further expand its reach and impact, enabling thousands more Australians to benefit from the programs that Gotcha4Life delivers.
