With APP2022 officially getting underway today (24 March), Conference Convenor Kos Sclavos AM says he is looking forward to seeing the community pharmacy industry over the next four days.
Mr Sclavos says that while community pharmacies have been instrumental in supporting their patients over the past 12 months, it is now “your turn to refresh your knowledge and reconnect with colleagues and more than 220 trade exhibitors”.
“Take some time to recharge your batteries at the Welcome Reception, the ‘Jungle Boogie’ Street Party, and have fun at APP over four big days,” says Mr Sclavos.
Mr Sclavos reminds those attending APP2022 not to miss the trade exhibition, which is “full of the latest supplier updates and a multitude of prizes that you could win, including a jet ski and scooter”.
“If you attend APP and visit the fun zone, you’ll receive a bonus entry to win a Mazda CX30,” he says.
Those attending the conference are encouraged to download the APP2022 mobile app “to access the latest speaker information, view the trade exhibition listings and connect with others”.
“Please also check the APP program and mobile app for the latest updates should times change,” says Mr Sclavos.
Speaking about a program change, Mr Sclavos says that the “Minister for Health and Aged Care, the Hon Greg Hunt MP, will now be giving a Government Keynote Address at 9:10 AM on Friday 25 March”.
