Melbourne-born vitamin brand, Vitadrop is passionate about “restoring the elusive balance between your lifestyle and overall health”.
The company builds products which are said to be potent enough for the highest-level athlete, that can be consumed simply by the everyday person.
Vitadrop says that their aim is to create a new subcategory of drinkable lifestyle supplements catering to the ‘always on’ lifestyle of 2021.
Co-founded by Charles Wood, Dan Concannon, Thomas Caw and basketballer and DJ Elizabeth Cambage, the Vitadrop ethos stems from a shared idea of simplifying the nutraceuticals space by creating products that are accessible, understandable, and affordable.
The founders recognised they weren’t getting enough from current brands on the shelf, and seeks to challenge the vitamin space.
Mr Wood says, “Our aim is to create an energy drink without harmful stimulants, that helps support an active, social ‘always-on’ lifestyle.”
Vitadrop prides themselves on how they differ from other players in the category, key factors being that they are 100% Australian made and owned.
Additionally, a huge focus is also on producing quality formulations and raw materials, rather than pinching costs, and seek to eliminate all unnecessary fillers, excipients, and non-actives.
The Daily
The omission of fillers resulted in their hero product, The Daily, coming in at less than half the dose of their competitors. They also wanted a powdered supplement rather than an effervescent tablet to ensure the products can be added to smoothies, juices and stacked with other supplements.
The Daily, which is also TGA certified, is said to be completely water-soluble and packed with 15 active vitamins, Australian minerals and natural electrolytes from coconut water.
Products are designed particularly to shine when the body is under stress from consumption of alcohol, vigorous exercise, or work-life stress.
Vitadrop’s sugar and carb-free formulation contains vitamins C, D, B complex, as well as iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc and coconut water powder.
