TerryWhite Chemmart (TWC) pharmacies came together over the last two weeks for the first series of Academy Live and Masterclass Forum training events for the year.
The Masterclass Forum attracted almost 200 pharmacists from across the country and was held virtually in a 4.5-hour format.
The 7 CPD sessions, with 10 guest speakers (including infectious disease epidemiologist Rob Menzies and nurse practitioner and credentialled diabetes educator, Irene Kopp) covered topics that included the latest in cognitive and mental health, smoking cessation, infective skin conditions and the gut microbiome’s role in healthy immune responses.
Participants were also introduced to the exciting new exclusive private label skincare ranges Willa + Ro, Face of Many and Tempo.
Chief Pharmacist Brenton Hart says it is pleasing to see so many pharmacists committed to networking and learning.
“We made sure the sessions were succinct and the content highly relevant to maximise their learnings,” he says.
The 2022 Academy Live and Masterclass Forum sessions were supported by numerous suppliers including Care Pharmaceuticals, Reckitt Benckiser, GSK, Wanderlust, SFI Health, Sanofi, NovoNordisk, J&J and Metagenics.
