In response to the workplace stress experienced by health professionals working within pharmacy, Guild Learning and Development has released a new online module – Managing stress in pharmacy.
Reportedly, while it’s a satisfying profession, working within pharmacy can be stressful, with burnout being common among professionals working in this space.
It has been found that workplace stress experienced by pharmacy professionals can be not only detrimental to the employee experiencing the stress but also to those around them and the organisation they work for.
In response to this a resource has been developed by Pharmacists’ Support Services. This resource is designed to help employees and pharmacy owners to address workplace stress.
Based on this resource, Guild Learning and Development has released the new online module – Managing stress in pharmacy, a module that addresses key contributors to workplace stress along with strategies to minimise it.
To enrol in this module, visit – guilded.guild.org.au or contact Guild Learning and Development on 03 9810 9930 or email learninganddevelopment@guild.org.au
This activity has been accredited for 0.75 hours of Group 1 CPD (or 0.75 CPD credits), suitable for inclusion in an individual pharmacist’s CPD plan, which can be converted to 0.75 hours of Group 2 CPD (or 1.5 CPD credits) upon successful completion of relevant assessment activities.
