ELLIE ANGEL-MOBB ENDOMETRIOSIS AUSTRALIA AMBASSADOR Images supplied by: Ellie Angel-Mobbs Meet Ellie Angel-Mobbs, a bubbly, outgoing radio announcer who under the surface tells a harrowing tale of managing the often debilitating condition of endometriosis. This month, Retail Pharmacy Assistants’ Margaret Mielczarek chats with the ‘endo warrior’ to learn more about the condition and about the organisation working to raise its awareness, Endometriosis Australia.  What is your endometriosis story? My journey with endometriosis began when I was 16, when I got my very first period. My periods were very irregular and extremely painful, and I suppose at that time, at school, you’re taught, ‘Well it’s painful, suck it up and deal with it’. However, my mum, who’s a nurse (she’s retired now) actually said to me, ‘No, that’s not the case, that’s not normal at all’. She went on to tell me about this condition: endometriosis. She had it and both my aunties had it.
