Natalis walks for a cause

Arrotex Pharmaceutical’s prenatal multivitamin, Natalis, recently spent the weekend supporting the work of Miracle Babies Foundation at its annual fundraising event, Miracle Babies Moon Walk, in Sydney.

The event, which brought together the families touched by the work of the organisation, fundraising teams and individuals, as well as sponsors, involved a 10km scenic walk around the harbourside city.

The event aimed to raise awareness and funds for the charity which provides essential support and services to families of sick and premature babies, and the hospitals that care for them.

“As a major, ongoing sponsor of Miracle Babies, we were thrilled to be able to support their annual Moon Walk fundraising event,” said Maureen Valdes, General Manager, Marketing, Arrotex Pharmaceuticals.

“To see first-hand the impact of their work on so many young families across the country was truly heart-warming.”

As an Australian made and owned prenatal supplement, the alignment to Miracle Babies is an important one for Natalis, a brand that is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of future and expectant Aussie mothers.

The Moon Walk, which brought together over 200 people has so far raised more than $60,000 for the charity.

As a major sponsor, the Natalis team supported the awards ceremony recognising the fundraising work of individuals and teams who had gone above and beyond to secure donations.

“Despite the weather forecast, we were extremely lucky, and this year’s event was the most memorable yet, with the addition of Observatory Hill to the route and more fun and experiences. It keeps getting better each year,” said Danielle Hodgson, fundraising officer, Miracle Babies.

”With the incredible support of Natalis, we were able to bring our vision for a family-friendly, interactive event to life, raising much-needed funds for our organisation, while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the gorgeous Sydney skyline.”

According to Miracle Babies, the fundraising goal of $100,000 is still within reach, with calls for donations being made until the campaign officially concludes on 9 April.
