Glucojel Super Star Award to reward exceptional customer service

Media Release

Do you believe you have outstanding customer service skills? Is servicing customers the favourite part of your role as a pharmacy assistant? Would you like to be recognised for these skills?

The Glucojel Super Star Award is a subsidiary award within the Pharmacy Guild of Australia/Maxigesic Pharmacy Assistant of the Year (PATY) Award which recognises outstanding customer service amongst PATY finalists.

The sub-award was created as part of PATY in 2016 to recognise customer service as one of the most important and valued skills set of pharmacy assistants.

Each PATY nominee who takes part in a state selection interview is automatically entered into the Glucojel Super Star Award.

The national prize includes a trophy to display in your pharmacy and return flights, accommodation and registration to the 2021 Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference (APP2021).

2019 Glucojel Super Star Award National Winner, Katie Godwin, says winning the award gave her the recognition she was looking for.

“Everyone looks for recognition and I finally got it,” Katie said.

“I think all my hard work has gone into something that I really care about and it’s paid off”.

“It’s fantastic to know that everything that I do every day makes a difference.”
