The best five skin care clinics in Sydney?

Everybody’s skin is unique, especially in a country as diverse as Australia, with its rainbow range of skin tones. So how do you find a clinician to suit your own?

The number of skin care clinics in Australia is dizzying, particularly as its major cities are hubs for skin care experts.

Sydney is no exception. Luckily, Harper’s Bazaar has picked out is five favourite skin care clinics in Australia’s most populous city. So check them out below and decide if any would be right for you. At the very least, they should put you on the right track.

 

  1. Melanie Grant2 Bay St, Double Bay NSW 2028

Melanie Grant, who runs a clinic in Double Bay, is Chanel Australia’s official skin expert. Grant is said to use state-of-the-art dermal technology and therapeutic skin products to rejuvenate skin in her “light-filled Sydney studio”. She also specialises in facials. Clients can have a 30-minute consultation to work out which treatment would suit them best.

  1. All Saints Clinic50 Bay St, Double Bay NSW 2028

Dr Joseph Hkeik is an aesthetic physician with more than 10 years’ experience in skin care. His clinic offers what Harper’s describes as “a range of must-try treatments with instantaneous results”. Clients can treat themselves to facial peels, which the clinic offers at “Mild”, “Medium” or “Strong” levels, which will activate skin renewal in a way that’s unique to each individual. The clinic also has its very own nutritionist and wellness coach, Chiza Westcarr.

  1. Miss Franc48 Liverpool St, Paddington NSW 2021

Francine Ilthier started her career as a nurse, working with some of Sydney’s most illustrious cosmetic doctors, before opening this Paddington-based clinic. Her clinic specialises in anti-aging and bespoke injecting techniques, and, according to Harper’s, “her personable demeanour has earned her a loyal following”. The clinic’s bespoke injectables consultation is priced at $100.

 

  1. Jocelyn Petroni1/80 Queen St, Woollahra NSW 2025

Jocelyn Petroni is known for her specialisation in both facials and manicures and is famous, among other things, for colouring Naomi Watts’ nails. Petroni’s clinic delivers dermal services including the ‘Heart Chakra Facial’, which Harper’s recommends “if radiant and youthful skin is the goal”.

If you want to take a more holistic herbal route, Vaia Beauty could be for you. Vaia Pappas started her clinic with her Greek heritage in mind, drawing on her mother and grandmother’s all-natural home-brewed recipes. Vaia offers deeply cleansing hydrabrasion treatments and a microdermabrasion method using diamonds to exfoliate the skin. A jewel of a clinic in Darlinghurst.
