Wizard Pharmacy is set to begin its trial of Buy-Again Bonuses, a fully automated system of rewarding customers for repeat purchases of a participating supplier’s products, across its network in May.
The program will automatically keep track of a customer’s repeat purchases of a participating brand or product whilst entering the customer in an automated email journey, reminding them of how close they are to receiving a buy-again bonus of a free product or voucher.
Buy-Again Bonuses is a new and innovative opportunity for supplier partners to directly engage with customers and provide personalised content and added value in a conveniently automated way.
Wizard Pharmacy General Merchandise Manager Brian Jefferies said he and his team identified that the current schemes of stamp collecting and submitting receipts for redemption were extremely manual and difficult to track and manage for consumers, pharmacy teams and suppliers.
“Having all repeat purchases collated and automated through our business platform and integrated with our Wizard Rewards program will assist both our supplier partners and customers in managing and tracking their rewards schemes and will encourage repeat patronage for a consistent healthcare journey.
For our supplier partners and pharmacy teams, it removes the friction of having to manage a manual collection and redemption process, and gives them the ability to communicate directly with our customers.
Customers will no longer have to carry a manual loyalty card or worry about logging receipts onto a website as everything is stored automatically in their Wizard Rewards account,” said Jefferies.
Sandy Pow of Ego Pharmaceuticals said they have always had a close relationship with the Wizard Pharmacy group since it began in Western Australia in 2005.

The Buy-Again Bonus program was developed entirely in-house by the Wizard Pharmacy Services team.
